Aespa, BLACKPINK, SEVENTEEN, BABYMONSTER, NewJeans, BTS, and TWS Pick Up Fresh RIAJ Streaming Certifications in Japan
Japan’s Recording Industry Association (RIAJ) has unveiled its latest slate of streaming certifications, spotlighting a new wave of K-pop tracks resonating with listeners across the country.
Since RIAJ introduced streaming plaques in 2020, songs are certified at three milestones: Silver (30 million streams), Gold (50 million), and Platinum (100 million). This month’s honors are led by aespa, with several powerhouse acts joining the tally.
BTS x Jawsh 685 x Jason Derulo — “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat) [BTS Remix]”
From aespa’s hard-hitting “Savage” to SEVENTEEN’s double win and the cross-genre reach of the “Savage Love” remix, these achievements underscore K-pop’s consistent staying power on Japan’s major streaming platforms. It’s a notable mix of fourth-gen leaders, veteran icons, and rising rookies—each deepening their foothold with local listeners.
Congrats to all the artists and fandoms fueling these milestones.
