NEXZ Sets New Personal Best With “Beat-Boxer” First-Week Sales
NEXZ is on a steady rise. The rookie boy group from JYP Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Japan has notched their highest first-week sales yet with their new mini album “Beat-Boxer” and its punchy title track of the same name.
“Beat-Boxer” tallied 338,916 copies in its first week (October 27–November 2 on Hanteo), surpassing the group’s previous benchmark of 239,443 set by their earlier mini album “O-RLY?” this year. It’s a clear signal that NEXZ’s fandom is expanding fast across Korea and Japan, with strong momentum for a team still early in their discography.

With performance-ready choreography and a hook built for stages, “Beat-Boxer” plays to NEXZ’s strengths—and the results show. Their recent music show appearances, including on SBS’s “Inkigayo,” have further amplified visibility, translating stage buzz into tangible sales.
As NEXZ continues sharpening their identity under the JYP x Sony Music Japan partnership, breaking the 300K line in week one positions the group for even bigger milestones ahead. Keep an eye on the next wave of promotions—and turn the volume up on “Beat-Boxer.”
