BLACKPINK Confirm Comeback: New Album Set for January 2026
BLACKPINK’s long-awaited return is officially on the way. YG Entertainment has confirmed the group’s new album is slated for release in January 2026, noting the project is in its final stages with a full promotional rollout to follow once preparations are complete.
Early reports suggested a December 2025 release, but the timeline has shifted to allow additional refinement and to align with the group’s ongoing “Deadline World Tour,” which kicked off in July 2025 and runs through January 2026. Filming for the comeback music video has already begun, signaling that the campaign is moving into high gear.
The upcoming release will mark BLACKPINK’s first full-group album in approximately four years, following 2022’s Born Pink. Arriving as the quartet nears the 10-year milestone since their August 2016 debut, the comeback carries extra meaning for fans who’ve watched Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo, and Jennie broaden their global reach through solo activities and collaborations.
