Hoshi of SEVENTEEN Debuts First All English Solo Single Fallen Superstar

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi Surprises Fans with First All-English Solo Single ‘Fallen Superstar’

SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi has unveiled his first all-English solo track, “Fallen Superstar,” released as a digital single with an accompanying music video under PLEDIS Entertainment, part of HYBE. It marks a confident stride toward an even broader global audience.

The song traces two emotionally wounded individuals finding solace together, fusing brisk, pulse-like drums with expressive guitar lines. Hoshi’s nuanced vocals add poetic weight, balancing urgency and tenderness throughout.

International creators contributed to the single: hitmaker Andrew Goldstein, known for work with major pop artists, and American singer-songwriter JXDN, a VMA-nominated artist. Their collaboration underscores Hoshi’s versatility as he steps further into English-language music.

The music video extends the track’s themes through refined, symbolic visuals—reversed imagery of a fractured guitar, Hoshi falling through space, and a guitar pick engraved with “You’re just a Fallen Superstar”—stoking anticipation and deepening the narrative.

Beyond group activities, Hoshi has steadily expanded his solo catalog with tracks like “TAKE A SHOT” (which climbed the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart), “Damage” featuring Timbaland, “I Want You Back,” and “STAY,” each revealing new shades of his artistry.

Currently serving mandatory military duty, Hoshi continues to uphold his solo presence with strategically timed releases, with discharge slated for March 15, 2027.
