NEWBEAT Unveils Dual Concepts for First Mini Album ‘LOUDER THAN EVER’
Rising boy group NEWBEAT has dropped striking dual-concept teasers for their first mini album, ‘LOUDER THAN EVER,’ signaling a confident leap forward in visuals and sound.
The album is set to release on November 6 at 12 p.m. KST. Ahead of the drop, the group will showcase one of the double title tracks with pre-release stages on SBS funE’s The Show (November 4) and MBC M/MBC every1’s Show Champion (November 5).
In the “Connecting Signal” group teaser, the members project warm, youthful energy, highlighted by leader Park Minseok offering a gift box—hinting at a theme of innocence and sincerity.
The concept split is crystal clear. The White version (“Kitten by Sunlight”) leans into clean whites and denim for a fresh, mature-but-boyish mood, while the Black version (“Demon by Midnight”) turns up the heat with sleek cutout leather and sharp detailing that channels bold charisma.
Built entirely in English, ‘LOUDER THAN EVER’ underlines NEWBEAT’s global focus. The group teamed up with international hitmakers including Neil Ormandy and Candace Sosa to shape the project’s sound.
The mini features double title tracks “Look So Good” and “LOUD.” “Look So Good” revives early-2000s pop/R&B textures with modern gloss, while “LOUD” fuses bass-house drive with rock-tinged hyperpop energy. The tracklist also includes “Natural” and “Unbelievable.”
This comeback lands roughly eight months after their full-length debut ‘RAW AND RAD,’ a period that saw NEWBEAT expand on the festival circuit and establish their official fandom, NEURO.
With polar-opposite visuals and a fully English tracklist, NEWBEAT is positioning ‘LOUDER THAN EVER’ as a statement of intent—crafted for a wider stage and ready to make noise.
