ATEEZ Made Their First GOLDEN HOUR Album You Can Play, And Their First You Can Wear

Part.5 arrived in a record 22 versions on 26 June 2026. Two of them have never existed in the GOLDEN HOUR series before, and they could not be more different.

For four installments, a GOLDEN HOUR album basically meant one thing: a book you look at. Photobooks, digipacks, POCA cards, vinyl. Part.4 alone came in 15 versions, and every one of them was a variation on the same idea. Gorgeous, collectable, but fundamentally something you display. So when ATEEZ dropped their 14th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, on 26 June 2026 with BAD as the title track, the headline was not just the record-breaking 22 versions. It was that two of those versions do something the series has never done before. One you actually play. One you actually wear.

The Key Chain (NFC) Ver., The First GOLDEN HOUR You Can Wear

Here is the genuinely clever part: the Key Chain Ver. has no disc at all. Instead, the digital album lives inside an NFC acrylic charm, so you tap your phone to it and the music loads up. The whole thing is built as a 140mm keychain, a silver metal ring strung with a red acrylic charm, a chunky silver cube charm and the oval ATEEZ NFC charm, all in the electric green and hot pink Part.5 colourway. It is giving neon mountain expedition meets collector dream board, and we mean that as the highest compliment.

Inside the box you also get one random selfie photocard (one of eight), a folding poster, a sticker and a warranty card. The point of this version is mobility, and that is exactly what no GOLDEN HOUR album offered before. It is the one you can carry out the door, hang off your bag and flash at the next ATINY who clocks it on the Tube. Part album, part bag charm, part "I bought it for practical reasons" excuse. We are not judging. We are enabling.

The CD Player Ver., The First GOLDEN HOUR You Can Actually Play

Now the opposite extreme, fully analog and proud of it. The CD Player Ver. packs an actual functional, rechargeable portable CD player (153 x 153 x 38mm, silver-grey finish) alongside the standard CD disc holding the full Part.5 tracklist. This is not a prop or a display piece. Until now, owning the GOLDEN HOUR disc and playing it meant buying separate hardware. This time the album is the player. Slot the disc, press play, charging cable included.

And here is the part collectors will lose it over: every single copy includes the full set of eight photocards, one per member, with no random pulls. No prayer circles, no trading, no "I got Wooyoung again." Everyone gets the lot. Add a 12-page lyric book and you have got the largest, chunkiest box in the entire Part.5 lineup (200 x 200 x 90mm). This is the version for the ATINY who treats albums like functional art, on the shelf and on rotation.

So which one. If you want GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5 on you at all times, swinging off your bag with the whole neon expedition energy, the Key Chain Ver. is no notes. If you would rather actually hear the disc spin and lock the full eight-member set with zero pull anxiety, the CD Player Ver. ate and left no crumbs. And if you are being honest with yourself, you already know a lot of ATINY are quietly getting both. Two series firsts, one era, completely different ways to hold it. That is what makes this comeback special.
