Sooyoung to Host the 2025 ASEAN–Korea Music Concert in Ho Chi Minh City
Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung has been confirmed as the main host of the 2025 ASEAN–Korea Music Concert (AKMC), taking place on November 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
AKMC is a flagship cultural event co-hosted by the intergovernmental ASEAN–Korea Centre and the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE), with organization by Silkroad C&T Group. Designed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and spark vibrant cultural exchange between ASEAN member states (including Vietnam) and Korea, the concert particularly aims to energize engagement among younger audiences.
On site, Sooyoung will set the tone with her poised, versatile MC skills. She will be joined by Manh Cuong, an announcer from Vietnam’s state broadcaster, promising a smooth, locally rooted flow throughout the program.
