tvN’s new Monday–Tuesday romantic comedy “Nice to Not Meet You” is gearing up to charm viewers with a breezy tone, sharp banter, and star-studded chemistry. The series tracks a love–hate collision between Lim Hyeon Jun (Lee Jung Jae), an A-list actor who’s drifted from his roots, and Wi Jeong Sin (Lim Ji Yeon), a justice-driven reporter demoted to the entertainment desk.
Lee Jung Jae signals a welcome pivot to playfulness, noting that after a run of heavy projects, he wanted something lighter that fits the year-end mood. Lim Ji Yeon points to the thrill of seeing Lee return to comedy—promising a fresh, feel-good surprise for audiences who know his charismatic dramatic image.
Kim Ji Hun, as former national baseball star–turned–Sports Eunsung CEO Lee Jae Hyung, highlights the show’s wholesome, laugh-out-loud rhythms, especially the early, delightfully tangled encounters between the leads.
