"To The Moon" Finale Climbs as "Would You Marry Me" Opens Second Half at 6.5 Percent

"To The Moon" Signs Off With Ratings Bump As "Would You Marry Me" Leads Its Slot Into Second Half

MBC’s “To The Moon” wrapped its run on a ratings upswing, closing with an average nationwide rating of 2.1 percent, according to Nielsen Korea.

In the same time slot, SBS’s “Would You Marry Me” held onto first place as it opened the second half of its run with a 6.5 percent average nationwide rating. It was the most-watched program of the night outside coverage of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) game.

The finale lift for “To The Moon” caps a steady late-run climb and should bolster post-finale on-demand interest, while “Would You Marry Me” maintains strong mainstream traction entering its back half.

  • “To The Moon” (MBC): Finale at 2.1% nationwide
  • “Would You Marry Me” (SBS): Second-half kickoff at 6.5% nationwide; No. 1 in its time slot and top non-sports program of the night

With momentum on both sides—Lee Sun Bin’s “To The Moon” closing on a high and the rom-com “Would You Marry Me” widening its lead—the midweek drama race stays competitive even against major sports broadcasts.
