Jang Ki Yong Previews a Cool-Headed Yet Soft-Hearted Lead in SBS’s “Dynamite Kiss”
Jang Ki Yong is set to headline SBS’s upcoming romantic comedy “Dynamite Kiss,” sharing fresh insights into a character who balances sleek charisma at work with surprising innocence in love.
The story follows Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin), a single woman who disguises herself as a married mom to land a job, and Gong Ji Hyuk (Jang Ki Yong), the team leader who finds his beliefs about love shaken after one unforgettable kiss.
Jang describes Gong Ji Hyuk as composed and stylish in the office, but openhearted and straightforward when romance enters the picture—someone who throws himself fully into both his career and relationships. It’s a duality he believes will make the character especially endearing.
He also noted that the chance to reunite with director Kim Jae Hyun and a script that was lively and engaging drew him to the project.
“Dynamite Kiss” premieres on November 12 at 9 p.m. KST.
