Jeon Jong Seo Joins Henry Cavill in Hollywood Reboot “Highlander”
The breakout Korean actress is confirmed for a key role as a member of the secretive “Watchers,” with filming now set for early next year.
Jeon Jong Seo has been officially cast in the upcoming Hollywood reboot of “Highlander,” starring opposite Henry Cavill. According to her agency, Jeon will portray a member of the clandestine organization known as the Watchers—guardians who chronicle and oversee the battles of immortal warriors.
A reimagining of the 1986 fantasy classic, “Highlander” traces centuries-spanning clashes between immortals, each vying to be the last one standing. The production, initially expected to roll cameras this fall, has shifted to early next year following a schedule adjustment related to Cavill’s injury.
