New Stills Tease a Fragile, Fateful Romance in “Dear X”
Upcoming drama “Dear X” has unveiled striking new images of Kim You Jung and Kim Young Dae, hinting at a love story threaded with ambition, secrecy, and danger.
Adapted from a webtoon, the series stars Kim You Jung as Baek Ah Jin, an A-list actress who clawed her way up from nothing by leveraging those around her, masking a ruthless core with a perfect smile. Kim Young Dae plays Yoon Joon Seo, the steadfast presence who keeps a measured step behind her—protective, patient, and quietly torn.
The school-era stills show Ah Jin drenched as Joon Seo pulls her close and leads her out, while other frames linger on a near-touch and the kind of gaze that gives away a racing pulse. In the present, after Ah Jin’s return as a top star, she leans into Joon Seo’s arms; her hollow, unreadable expression and his stillness signal a romance poised on the edge of beautiful ruin.
“Dear X” will premiere its first four episodes on November 6 at 6 p.m. KST and stream on Viki. Stay tuned.
