As “Shin’s Project” reaches its finale, the lead trio shared warm parting messages that capture why the series resonated so deeply with viewers.
The drama follows Mr. Shin, a once-legendary negotiator who now runs a humble chicken shop while quietly stepping in to mediate the neighborhood’s toughest conflicts. Han Suk Kyu leads as Mr. Shin, with Bae Hyeon Seong as rookie judge Jo Philip and Lee Re as delivery worker Lee Si On—both part of Mr. Shin’s crew.
Their final thoughts
Han Suk Kyu reflected that embodying a man balancing “light and darkness” let him explore a wide emotional range. He reaffirmed his belief that an actor’s job is to create lasting memories—and promised to keep doing just that.
Bae Hyeon Seong said playing Jo Philip was a time of discovery and growth. Drawing strength from director Shin Kyung Soo, Han Suk Kyu, and Lee Re, he expressed gratitude and vowed to keep improving.
