Some collabs you see coming. This one still managed to knock the wind out of every STAY scrolling past it. Stray Kids' own character universe, SKZOO, has officially linked arms with the Sanrio Characters, and the twist that has fandom in pieces is simple: every single SKZOO has been given its own Sanrio soulmate. Eight members, eight characters, eight perfect pairs 🩷

SKZOO has always been more than a merch line. Each character is a little avatar of its member, built around an animal motif and a personality the members helped shape themselves. So when you drop those characters into the Sanrio world, the pairings are not random at all. They are matched on temperament, on motif, on the exact kind of soft chaos each member is known for. A few of these land instantly. Leebit, Lee Know's rabbit, lining up with Kuromi feels almost too on the nose in the best way, two mischief-coded sweethearts in matching ears. BbokAri, Felix's little chick, paired with My Melody is pure softness on softness. And Seungmin's PuppyM with Pochacco is the dog-on-dog crossover nobody knew they needed, sporty and a bit cheeky.

Then there are the ones that reward a second look. Bang Chan's Wolf Chan beside Ahiruno Pekkle plays leader-and-the-calm-one beautifully. Changbin's Dwaekki next to Bad Badtz-Maru is the attitude pairing of the set, small but full of swagger. Hyunjin's Jiniret with Cinnamoroll leans into that dreamy, floaty energy, while Han Quokka with Corocorokuririn brings the band-kid chaos. I.N's FoxI.Ny with Keroppi closes it out on a gentle, storybook note.
