Sung Si Kyung’s agency has issued a formal statement regarding the singer’s former manager, acknowledging internal findings that point to serious misconduct during the manager’s tenure.

According to the agency, the longtime manager—who oversaw on-site operations for concerts, broadcasts, advertisements, and events—recently caused professional disruptions and allegedly inflicted financial harm impacting Sung Si Kyung as well as related subcontractors and partners. Upon learning of the situation, the company moved to end the manager’s duties; the individual has since resigned.

The agency shared that an internal investigation is underway to verify the scope of damages and emphasized that it recognizes its own shortcomings in oversight and supervision. As part of corrective measures, the company is reorganizing its internal control systems to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Expressing regret over the situation, the agency apologized to fans for the concern caused and indicated that further steps will follow after the review is complete.
