The TWICE Fanchant Master Guide: Every Setlist Chant for the THIS IS FOR Europe Tour
From the member call to "Alcohol-Free", every chant you need before doors open. Built for first-timers and ten-year ONCE alike.
Here is the truth about TWICE concerts: the fanchant is the show. The 360° stage, the live band, the costume changes, the Candy Bong sea, all of it is built around the fact that 20,000 ONCE in unison can replace a third member of the harmony on every single track. If you have never been to a TWICE show before, the fanchant is the difference between watching the concert and being part of the concert. If you have been to TWICE shows for a decade, you already know.
This guide covers every fanchant you need for the THIS IS FOR European tour setlist, locked in based on Lisbon and Barcelona. We have organised it from the most important chants (Member Call, Strategy) to the legacy run (FANCY, What is Love, TT). Every chant line is shown in three layers: Korean (한글), Romanized (so you can pronounce it), and English meaning. For songs without formally published JYP cheering guides, we have noted that explicitly.
How to use this guide
⚡ Quick guide (per song)
Just the must-shout call. If you only have one afternoon to prep before the show, learn this part. Five-minute window per song.
📖 Full guide (per song)
Every chant position mapped to the song structure, with timing markers (intro, pre-chorus, bridge, outro). Open this when you have a full evening to learn or want to be the loudest in your section. We do not reproduce full lyrics — for those, we point you to Spotify, Apple Music, Melon, or Genius.

The Core: The Member Call (every TWICE show, every year)
This is the single most important thing in this guide. If you remember nothing else, remember this one. The Member Call has opened every TWICE show since 2015. It happens at the start of the opening track, after the opening track, between songs, and during ments. Every time. It is the ONCE equivalent of a national anthem, and it is the moment you instantly find your people in the crowd.
The Member Call Essential
⚡ Quick — must shout
나정모 사지미 다채쯔
NA-JEONG-MO · SA-JI-MI · DA-CHAE-JJEU
First syllable of each member's name, grouped 3-3-3
→ This shortened version is woven into most TWICE songs. Learn this first.
📖 Full guide — the long version + when to use which
Full version (used at show openings and TT)
임나연! 유정연! 모모짱! 사나짱! 박지효! 미나짱! 김다현! 손채영! 조쯔위!
IM NAYEON! YOO JEONGYEON! MOMO-JJANG! SANA-JJANG! PARK JIHYO! MINA-JJANG! KIM DAHYUN! SON CHAEYOUNG! CHO TZUYU!
Surnames + "-jjang" (champion / best) for the three non-Korean members
원 인 어 밀리언! 세상에 단 하나뿐인 트.와.이.스!
WON IN A MILLION! SESANGE DAN HANA-PPUNIN TEU-WA-I-SEU!
One in a million! The one and only TWICE in the world!
When to use which:
Full version: show opener, TT intro, when there's a clear pause for it
Short version: mid-song call-and-response (FANCY, I CAN'T STOP ME, SET ME FREE, etc.)
→ Practise both. Default to whichever feels natural in the moment. The full version is the most rehearsed fanchant in TWICE history, going back to 2015.
Act I: The new era openers
This is where the show kicks off, and where the European leg setlist locks in. Five songs, three of them with fanchants ONCE have been practising for months.
THIS IS FOR
The opening track of the entire world tour. Every show opens on this. JYP put out an official cheering guide for this in July 2025, and the chant follows the lyric structure with ONCE shouting "TWICE!" on the title repeats. Watch the official video twice through and you will have it.
THIS IS FOR · opener Medium
JYP official cheering guide
⚡ Quick — must shout
(TWICE!)
(TWICE!)
Loud "TWICE!" shout right after "turn it up"
→ The opening track of every show. If you only catch one chant, catch this.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ Most chant points are written into the song as backing vocals, but ONCE shout them louder over the top. Watch the JYP official cheering guide above twice through and the timing locks in.
Strategy
The most rehearsed fanchant on this tour. The Step 1, 2, 3, 4 chant lands harder than almost anything else in Act I, partially because of the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack association, and partially because the call-and-response is just genuinely well-designed. If you only learn one new fanchant for this show, learn this one.
→ Steps 1 through 4 are the full count. Most fans focus on Steps 1 and 2 because they hit hardest, but the official guide includes all four. Crowd response in Lisbon was reportedly louder than the backing track on these beats.
SET ME FREE
The intro is a TWICE classic: chanting each syllable of the song title back. The chorus then weaves in the shortened member call. Worth learning if you have a few minutes.
SET ME FREE · intro + chorus Medium
JYP did not release a separate cheering guide for SET ME FREE. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com and TWICEpedia.
⚡ Quick — must shout
트·와·이·스·셋·미·프·리
TEU · WA · I · SEU · SET · MI · PEU · RI
Spell out "TWICE SET ME FREE" one syllable per beat
→ This eight-syllable intro chant is what carries the opening. Learn this first.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ The intro spells out the song title one syllable at a time, very chantable. The shortened member call (Na-Jeong-Mo, Sa-Ji-Mi, Da-Chae-Jjeu) goes across three chorus lines, ending with "트와이스" (TWICE).
I CAN'T STOP ME
One of the most fanchant-dense tracks in the entire setlist. Multiple layers across the intro, the Ooh sections, and the full bridge member call.
I CAN'T STOP ME · intro + Ooh + bridge Hard
JYP official cheering guide
⚡ Quick — must shout
너무나 짜릿해 트! 와! 이! 스!
NEOMUNA JJARITHAE TEU! WA! I! SEU!
So thrilling — T! W! I! C! E!
→ The intro shout sets the energy for the whole song. Sharp, loud "트! 와! 이! 스!" at the end.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ One of the most fanchant-dense songs in the catalogue. Four layers: intro "트! 와! 이! 스!" shout, the short member call across the Ooh loops, the full member call in the bridge ending "I! CAN'T! STOP! ME!", and a closing "트! 와! 이! 스!" at the very end.
Act II: The dark, demanding middle
This act is heavier, the choreography is harder, and the fanchants slow down. Two of the tracks are worth specifically prepping for.
The Feels
One of TWICE's biggest English-language hits, and the chorus is fanchant gold. The entire arena tends to take over the "ooh-ooh" sections without prompting.
The Feels · chorus singalong Easy
"The Feels" does not have a formally published JYP cheering guide. The arena takes over the chorus organically.
⚡ Quick — must shout
Just sing along. No specific chant to memorise.
→ Crowd echoes the "ooh ooh" backing vocal in the chorus. That's it.
📖 Full guide — what to do during the song
Song structure → what to do
Verse 1→Pre-chorus→Chorus[sing along + ooh echo]→Verse 2→Chorus 2→Bridge→Final chorus
There is no specific call to learn. ONCE typically take over the chorus singalong and echo the "ooh ooh" backing vocals. Hand wave side-to-side, soft Candy Bong sway.
The reworked tour instrumental has become this song's signature moment. The fanchant is the chorus title repeat plus the iconic "ay" callouts. ONCE in Lisbon and Barcelona were reportedly louder on this than on any Act II track.
CRY FOR ME · chorus singalong Easy
"CRY FOR ME" was released as a 2020 digital single without a published JYP cheering guide.
⚡ Quick — must shout
Sing the title repeats with the arena. No formal chant.
→ The reworked tour instrumental gives the song a darker live energy. The crowd carries the choruses.
Act IV: The legacy run (where ten years of ONCE memory takes over)
This is where the show stops needing the fanchant sheet. These five tracks have been in the ONCE communal memory for between five and ten years. Hand choreography, mass singalongs, and the kind of moments where the whole arena hits the lyric without anyone needing to be told.
FANCY
FANCY · intro + chorus Medium
No JYP cheering guide was released for FANCY. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.
⚡ Quick — must shout
지금 너에게로 갈래 — FANCY, 트와이스!
JIGEUM NEO-EGE-RO GALLAE — FANCY, TWICE!
Now I'm coming to you — FANCY, TWICE!
→ The signature intro call. Members do the short member call first, then the arena finishes with this.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ One of the most beloved fanchants in the TWICE catalogue. The intro call lands big, then ONCE echo "(FANCY YOU!)" after each "I fancy you" in the chorus. Open the full guide for the bridge shouts and verse echoes.
What is Love?
The famous hand choreography moment. The whole arena will do the heart hand gesture together during the chorus. The fanchant itself has three distinct moments: the intro call, mid-word shouts in the bridge, and a full member call in the outro. Open the toggles below for the full breakdown.
What is Love? · intro + bridge + outro Hard
No JYP cheering guide was released for What is Love?. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.
⚡ Quick — must shout
가자! What is Love? 내 사랑은 바로 너, 트.와.이.스!
GAJA! What is Love? NAE SARANG-EUN BARO NEO, TEU-WA-I-SEU!
Let's go! What is Love? My love is you — T·W·I·C·E!
→ The signature intro. Spelt-out "TWICE" at the end goes loud.

→ Three layers of complexity: the intro call, the mid-word bridge shouts, and the full outro member call ending with "트둥이" (TWICE darlings) — one of the warmest fanchant moments in the catalogue. Open the full guide for exact positions.
YES or YES
One of the most physical fanchants in the TWICE catalogue. The arms-up choreography is built into the song. ONCE in the front rows have been throwing it back to the front for the better part of a decade.
YES or YES · intro + verse calls Medium
JYP did not release a separate cheering guide video for YES or YES. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.

→ Intro spells out "Y-E-S TWICE!" followed by the full member call, then verse and pre-chorus carry echo calls back at specific words. Plus the iconic arms-up choreography in the chorus.
Dance the Night Away
The 2018 summer smash, the song that probably defines the entire ONCE-era singalong template. The intro has its own "수분충전 트와이스!" (hydration refill TWICE!) chant, and the verses are full of "(Ah~)" echoes. Hand wave goes from side to side.
Dance the Night Away · intro + verse echoes Medium
JYP did not release a separate cheering guide video for Dance the Night Away. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.
⚡ Quick — must shout
수분충전 트와이스!

→ The "수분충전 트와이스" (literally: "moisture recharge TWICE") intro is a summer-themed pun. After each verse line, ONCE echo "(Ah~)" or "(Wah~)" for the count of beats the song holds. Hand wave goes side-to-side throughout.
ONE SPARK
The main set closer. The chant builds across the bridge into the final chorus. By the time the song ends, the arena will be at peak volume for the encore break.
ONE SPARK · verse shouts + chorus echoes Medium
No JYP cheering guide was released for ONE SPARK. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.
⚡ Quick — must shout

(BURNING) (BURNING) (BURNING)
Echo "burning" after each lead vocal in the chorus
→ The chorus echo carries the whole song. Match the rhythm of the lead vocal.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ Three shout positions and two echo patterns. The main set closer in Lisbon and Barcelona — this is the loudest moment of Act IV, when the arena hits peak volume before the encore break.
Encore: The rotating curveballs
This is where the European leg gets spicy. Lisbon got the TWICE Dance Challenge. Barcelona got "Feel Special" plus "Alcohol-Free". Every remaining European city will likely get its own rotating encore B-side. Here are the three most likely candidates, and what to know for each.
Feel Special
The 2019 single that became one of TWICE's most emotionally resonant tracks, removed from the main setlist after Hong Kong but reinstated as a Europe encore option. The fanchant includes the full member call woven into the intro, which makes this song genuinely electric live.
→ The intro is one of the warmest moments in TWICE fanchant history — ONCE and TWICE explicitly saluting each other. The outro closes the song with the "T! W! I! C! E!" spell-out.
Alcohol-Free
The Barcelona encore that broke TikTok. Summer 2021 single, Tropical House mood, the song that has been missing from setlists for nearly two full tour cycles before returning at Palau Sant Jordi. If you have a ticket to a remaining show, prep this one just in case.
Alcohol-Free · intro + pre-chorus Hard
No JYP cheering guide was released for Alcohol-Free. The fanchant below is from kpopchords.com.
⚡ Quick — must shout
여름엔 트와이스!
YEO-REUM-EN TWICE!
In summer — TWICE!
→ One of the most iconic TWICE chants ever. Short member call comes right before it.
📖 Full guide — song structure + all chant positions
→ The "여름엔 트와이스!" intro is one of the most iconic TWICE chants. The pre-chorus call-and-response is rhythmic and easy — just echo the last syllable, ending with "쿵쿵!" (heartbeat sound). One clap on "Mojito with lime" later in the chorus.
TT
If TWICE play this in your city, you are blessed. TT is the 2016 fan-favourite that effectively launched TWICE into international stardom, and the fanchant is one of the most iconic in K-pop. The Member Call woven into the bridge is the cheat code moment.

"The fanchant is the show. The Candy Bong is the production."
The cliff notes: if you have one day to prep
If your show is tomorrow and you have one evening to cram, here is the priority order:
If you have 1 day
Hour 1. Memorise the Member Call. Long version + short version. This alone will carry 30 minutes of the show.
Hour 2. Watch the official JYP cheering guides for "THIS IS FOR" and "Strategy" twice each. These are the Act I non-negotiables.
Hour 3. Stream the Lisbon and Barcelona setlists in order, on repeat. Your subconscious will pick up the rest.
Skip. Detailed Hangul lyrics for Korean tracks. The arena does the heavy lifting on those, you can mouth-sync the easy phonetic bits.
One final thing: this only works with a lightstick
Here is the thing about TWICE fanchants on the 360° stage. The members do not just hear you. They see you. The in-the-round configuration means every quadrant of the arena lights up the stage view differently, and the Candy Bong colour state changes based on song cue. ONCE in Lisbon and Barcelona reported members visibly reacting to the lightstick sea on Act II ballads. The fanchant carries the audio. The Candy Bong carries the visual. The two are designed to work together.
If you do not yet have one, this is your last realistic chance before the next European show weekend.
Tour Essential
TWICE Candy Bong (Limited) 🍭
UK-shipped from London. No customs surcharge. Order now and you are sorted for Paris, Turin, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam, or The O2.
Whatever city you are heading to, whatever your prep window looks like, the most important thing to remember is this: nobody is checking your fanchant scoresheet. The arena carries everyone. If you nail the Member Call and the Strategy Step 1, 2, 3, 4 chant, you are already ahead of 80% of the room. The rest is muscle memory and crowd energy.
Lisbon and Barcelona showed how loud European ONCE can get. Paris is on Saturday. Bring everything. Bring your Candy Bong. And practise the Member Call one more time on the metro.
Fanchant references: JYP Entertainment official cheering guide videos (THIS IS FOR, Strategy, I Can't Stop Me, TT, Feel Special), plus published fanchants from kpopchords.com, TWICE Fandom Wiki, Namuwiki, and TWICEpedia.
