Lee Kwang Soo Swaps Stardom For Survival In Vietnam In Rom-Com “Love Barista”
Asia’s megastar Lee Kwang Soo steps into chaos and charm in “Love Barista,” a romantic comedy that strands his character, Kang Jun Woo, in Vietnam with no manager, no passport, and not a single won to his name.
Fresh stills tease a humbling (and hilarious) reset for the once untouchable “Asia Prince.” From slurping pho at a local spot to quietly nursing a watermelon juice, Jun Woo’s gilded image gives way to raw, fish-out-of-water endurance—and unexpected heart.

The comedy sharpens when Jun Woo reunites (and bickers) with his best friend and manager Jung Han Cheol, played by Eum Moon Suk, sparking the kind of mismatched, quick-fire chemistry fans love. And then there’s Thao, portrayed by Hoàng Hà—a chance encounter that shifts Jun Woo’s solo struggle into something softer, brighter, and a little bit fated.

With survival hijinks, warmth, and a star recalibrating his life one small moment at a time, “Love Barista” promises laughter with a side of heart. The film opens in theaters across Korea on November 19.
