On 25 March 2026 — exactly eight years to the day since Stray Kids stepped into the spotlight — the group released a song. Not a comeback. Not a unit track or a B-side tucked into a deluxe edition. Just a song, written for STAY, called 별, 빛 (STAY). Two days later, they were on stage at Inspire Arena in Incheon, and the lights went up on their sixth official fanmeeting.
After a year of record-breaking world tours, Billboard 200 chart runs, and box office films, STAY in Our Little House was something different entirely. A smaller door, a warmer room. SKZ inviting STAY back to the beginning — and asking them to stay a little longer.

And then there is the matter of the anniversary single. 별, 빛 (STAY) — written by Han and Seungmin — arrived on the day of the group's 8th anniversary, built around soft guitar and piano, and imagery of stars and a shared sky. In Korean fan culture, comparing someone to a star (별) or the universe (우주) means they are your everything. The title literally translates to Star, Light. STAY is both.
